Woven Polyester Fabric: Our American Made all-weather high strength woven polyester vinyl coated fabric is a minimum of 16oz per square yard. Meeting strict standards, such as: GREENGUARD gold certified, REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) Compliant, RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Compliant and guaranteed to be free of: Lead, Mercury, PBB, PBDE, Hex-Cr, Cd and Phthalates. Formulated to withstand fading, mildew, bacteria, fungus and soiling make our planter pots perfect for your inside or outside setting. Because our planter fabric is manufactured here in America under strict US Federal guidelines, it gives you the peace of mind when you harvest the fruits of your labor. Ensuring we source the best material for your planter pot is our priority. Unlike felt bags, our woven fabric allows salt and unwanted build up to flush out of the planter pot when watered.
Air Bottom Panel (ABP): What sets our planter bags apart from other companies is our exclusive built in rigid polypropylene panel that is 1” thick and strong enough to elevate the weight of the bags contents and allow for the flow of air between the floor and the soil resting above the panel. Over watering is virtually eliminated as any excess water is allowed to drain through the ABP and reduce any potential for root rot and moisture build up that can accumulate. An ABP also allows up to an additional 33% surface area available for Air pruning.
Reinforced Handles: Handles are an important feature of our bags and we are proud of them. We use a heavy nylon webbing, similar to a dog leash material, minimum of ¾ “ wide x 18” long so you can fit your hand easily within the loop without it being a chore. The two sets of handles are attached to the bag with an extra-large “box and cross” stitch pattern and reinforced on the inside of the bag with an additional fabric patch for repeated seasons of reliability.
Double Stitched OUTSIDE Seam: All our bags have a finished wrapped over edge along the vertical seam, instead of having a rough woven fabric edge showing, we hem the edge over to create a smooth appearance. Then the cylinder shape is made using a double needle post bed sewing machine that produces an incredibly strong reinforced seam and keeps it’s “roundness” when filling. It’s more labor intensive than sewing the seam when the bag is inside out, but it is structurally stronger and nicer looking.
Binder At Top of Planter Bag: We use a 1” poly webbing around the top of the vertical panel to add rigidity when filling with soil and create a finished look to the top of the bag. We also offer custom binder colors for a minimum order of 12 bags
Warranty Information: We make an awesome quality product and want you to feel the same. That’s why we back up our workmanship with a 5 year warranty against defects. If a problem arises with bag construction issues, please contact us so we can make it right. The warranty doesn’t cover such things as continuous dragging the bag along the ground or UV fading of the handle/binder webbing over time.
Cleaning your Air Bottom Bag: Wash and/or soak with dish detergent and water, rinse and air dry. To remove stubborn stains use a scrubby pad. Rip Away panels with hook and loop can be hosed off to flush out any soil build up.
